Based on the satisfying malty ales of blustery Scotland, Brooklyn Winter Ale will have you looking on the bright side of things. Rich Scottish malts bring deep bready flavors to a beer with a full copper color, a round, smooth palate, and brisk hopping that pulls the sweet malts into balance.

Porter beers are dark, full-bodied ales, named after the dockworkers in 19th Century London. Smooth and very drinkable, characterized by well-balanced hops & malt with subtle note of coffee and chocolate.

SIXPOINT SWEET ACTION - ONLY $6 A CAN (Usually $7)

Sixpoint Brewery, Brooklyn.
Though the brewery opened in 2004, the sixpoint synbol has been associated with breweries since the middle ages.
Sweet action is an original sixpoint style as  it harmoniously combines different types of beer.
It is part pale ale, part wheat, part cream ale- all Sweet Action.

ANCHOR STEAM BIG MAPLE - $5 A PINT - USUAL PRICE $6

One of the US' oldest breweries.  Established 1871 by German brewer Gottlieb Brekle.

Anchor Brewing remains one of the most traditional breweries in America, a pioneer of the craft brewing movement.

This is a distinctive red ale brewed with maple syrup which is quaffable, well-balanced with a lot of character. 

You can taste two caramel malts, pale malt, and a hint of maple syrup.
