BURGUNDY BLIND BATTLE

Barramundays Wine & Vinyl
Burgundy's famed terrior
The concept of terrior, or 'a sense of place', is taken seriously nowhere more than the red wines of Burgundy, France. Two vineyards full of Pinot Noir less than a mile apart, for example, can yield wildly different wines- even if they are the same vintage. This is what a difference the soil makes, as well as many other factors: slope of the land, exposure to wind (or lack thereof), the local flora, etc.
Tonight at Barramundi we will taste three Burgundies, at three different price points. Vote on your favorite, and get any glass for a mere $8, (even if it's worth twice as much)!
All this, paired with delicious artisanal cheese from Saxelby Cheesemongers in the Essex Market.
DJ Ilmo spins rare, eclectic vinyl all night long.
